Leslye Headland, known for her work on Sleeping With Other People and Bachelorette, has been tapped to both pen and helm the upcoming thriller Tell Me Everything.
The project originated when Netflix secured the film rights to Cambria Brockman's gripping novel in a preemptive deal. The production will be a collaboration between Michael Sugar's Sugar23 and Anonymous Content, with Aevitas Creative Management also involved.
The narrative unfolds at a prestigious New England college, where six close friends navigate complex relationships and romantic complications. The story takes a dark turn when murder strikes their tight-knit circle.
Headland comes to the project fresh from completing production on Russian Doll's inaugural season for Netflix, which she co-created alongside Natasha Lyonne and Amy Poehler.
Ashley Zalta, Sugar23's head of production, brought the project to the table and will serve as producer with Michael Sugar, Anonymous Content, and Aevitas's Todd Shuster. Nicole Clemens and Lori Galvin from Aevitas will take on executive producer roles.

The debut novel was sold through Aevitas representatives Lori Galvin and Lane Zachary in a competitive auction to Ballantine, with publication scheduled for June 2019.
