Indonesia’s GlobalXtreme led the month with the most significant improvement, boosting its average speed to 2.89 Mbps, up from 2.64 Mbps in August, marking a 0.25 Mbps rise.

Conversely, Infokom, also based in Indonesia, experienced a decline, with speeds dropping by 0.41 Mbps to settle at 2.92 Mbps.

In the United States, GVTc Fiber increased its average speed by 0.23 Mbps, reaching 4.46 Mbps, while in Israel, Partner improved by 0.20 Mbps, now averaging 4.00 Mbps.

Speed reductions were observed in Kuwait, where Gulfnet’s speeds fell from 2.50 Mbps to 2.24 Mbps, and Zajil Telecom’s speeds decreased from 3.12 Mbps to 2.77 Mbps.

This decline caused Kuwait’s national rank to slip six positions, falling from 29th to 35th place.

Saudi Arabia’s ITC also saw a decrease, with speeds down by 0.41 Mbps to 2.63 Mbps, from a previous 3.04 Mbps in August.

The Netflix ISP Speed Index measures prime-time Netflix streaming quality on individual ISPs, focusing on picture clarity, startup times, and stability, rather than overall internet performance.
